We’re looking for a Sr Data Engineer to join our growing team! Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to support data warehouse solutions.
Architect and optimize data models for both OLAP (analytical) and OLTP (transactional) systems.
Develop and maintain scalable data processing frameworks using PySpark and Apache Spark .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Manage and optimize data storage solutions in Amazon Redshift and other AWS services.
Ensure high data quality, integrity, and consistency across all pipelines and datasets.
Automate data workflows and ensure efficient data ingestion from various sources.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and performance issues in production environments.
Drive best practices for data engineering, including coding standards, testing, and documentation.
Care deeply about performance. Good people skills, care about mentoring others. Technical Skills 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Strong experience with OLAP data modeling , data warehousing , and ETL pipeline development .
Proficiency in PySpark for distributed data processing.
Deep understanding of AWS services , especially those related to data (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, EMR ).
Experience designing solutions for OLTP systems and integrating transactional data sources.
Solid hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift , including performance tuning and query optimization.
Proficient in SQL and data manipulation across large datasets.
Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance practices.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Strategic Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Team player. Experience working within agile environments.
